# Delete an Alert

> Stop an alert and delete it

Deletes the alert and the Sales Navigator saved search it created, so it never runs again. Lead runs still in progress are deleted with it. Finished runs are kept: you can still fetch them with [Retrieve a Search](https://docs.pipecorn.com/api-reference/endpoints/searches/show.md) or [Retrieve a List](https://docs.pipecorn.com/api-reference/endpoints/lists/show.md).

This cannot be undone. With a workspace key, you can delete any member's alert.
