# Attio

> Push leads and companies from Pipecorn to Attio, import Attio lists into Pipecorn, and enrich Attio people with Enrich with Pipecorn.

The Pipecorn app for [Attio](https://attio.com) connects the two in both
directions:

* **Push to Attio.** Send the leads of a Pipecorn search to Attio as people
and company records, linked to each other, and optionally gather them in a
  new Attio list.
* **Import from Attio.** Bring an Attio list of companies or people into
Pipecorn to find more decision-makers or enrich them.
* **Spot what you already have.** Flag the companies in your searches that are
  already in your Attio workspace.
* **Enrich with Pipecorn.** From a person record in Attio, find their email,
phone number or both. From a company record, fill its LinkedIn URL,
  description, domain and employee range.
* **Find people with Pipecorn.** From a company record, pick a persona and add
the matching people at that company to Attio.

## Connect Attio

**1. Start from Pipecorn**

In Pipecorn, open **Settings → Integrations** and click **Connect** next to
Attio.

**2. Approve the access**

Choose your Attio workspace and approve the access Pipecorn asks for. You
land back on the Integrations page.

**3. Map your fields**

Pick the Attio attribute each Pipecorn field fills: for example email to
**Email addresses**, LinkedIn URL to **LinkedIn** and job title to
**Job title**. Save the mapping.

## Push leads to Attio

From a search or a saved lead list, open the **Push to** menu and pick **Attio**. For each lead, Pipecorn
creates or updates a person and their company, and links the two. Records
that already exist in Attio are updated instead of duplicated.

Tick **Create list in Attio** to add everyone in the push to a new list named
`Pipecorn import: <search name>`. Pushing the same search again adds nobody
twice.

## Import an Attio list

On the Pipecorn dashboard, click **Import from Attio**, choose **Import leads**
or **Import companies**, and pick one of your Attio lists. Pipecorn imports its
records so you can search the companies for more people, or enrich the people.

## Enrich with Pipecorn

Open a person record in Attio and choose **Enrich with Pipecorn** from the
record's actions. The first time, Attio asks you to sign in to Pipecorn.

Choose **Find email**, **Find phone** or **Find email and phone**. Pipecorn sends the person's name, company and
LinkedIn URL, and adds what it finds to **Email addresses** and
**Phone numbers**. Values already on the record are kept.

* An email search needs the person's LinkedIn URL, or their first and last
  name and a linked company.
* A phone search needs the person's LinkedIn URL.

Enrichment spends your Pipecorn credits. See
[Credits vs limits](https://docs.pipecorn.com/api-reference/credits-vs-limits.md).

## Enrich a company

Open a company record and choose **Enrich with Pipecorn**. Pipecorn looks the
company up by its LinkedIn URL, domain or name, and fills **LinkedIn**,
**Description**, **Domains** and **Employee range** where they're empty.
Values already on the record are kept.

It costs 1 credit, only when Pipecorn finds the company.

## Find people from a persona

Open a company record and choose **Find people with Pipecorn**, then pick one
of your [personas](https://docs.pipecorn.com/api-reference/endpoints/personas/index.md). Pipecorn searches
its database for up to 10 people at that company who match the persona and
adds them to Attio as people records, linked to the company. People already in
Attio, matched on their LinkedIn profile, are skipped.

The company needs a LinkedIn URL; **Enrich with Pipecorn** can fill it. The
search uses your plan's lead extraction quota, not credits. See
[Credits vs limits](https://docs.pipecorn.com/api-reference/credits-vs-limits.md).

## What Pipecorn can access

| Attio access | Why |
| - | - |
| Records, read-write | Match existing people and companies, create and update them on a push, read imported lists, add enriched emails and phones |
| Object configuration, read | List the attributes you map Pipecorn fields to |
| Lists, read-write | Show the lists you can import, create the list a push goes into |
| List entries, read-write | Read an imported list, add pushed people to their list |
| Workspace members, read | Set a record owner from the field mapping |
| Notes, read-write | Show and log notes on people and companies from the Pipecorn Chrome extension |

## Disconnect

Remove Attio from **Settings → Integrations** in Pipecorn, which revokes
Pipecorn's access token, or uninstall the Pipecorn app from your Attio
workspace settings.
